Blend the smooth RnB grooves of the late 40s with classic 1950s Rock n Roll and add a dash of iconic Surf and Sixties Swing, all with period visuals, a touch of Fifties Futuristic and a cheeky grin :)

The Comet Club is a Mid Century styled nightime dance and social event for everyone... whether you're into the fashion, the company or you just want to sit back and enjoy the visuals!
Dance as you like! It's your choice, so Jive, Bop, Stroll or whatever takes your fancy!

A Large top quality dancefloor that'll accomodate 20 couples with plenty of spare room!

New to the music?
You may hear Elvis, Bill Haley, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Connie Francis, Bobby Darin, Buddy Holly, Wanda Jackson, Hank Williams, The Everley Brothers, Little Richard and Carl Perkins just to get started. Then add Big Joe Turner and Wynonie Harris from the late 40s and the Beach Boys and Beatles from the early 60s and you're getting the idea.
If you already know the scene?
Expect Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Rhythm n Blues, Pop, Swing, Doo-Wop, Jump Blues, Western, Hillbilly, British, Surf and more, plus all the cool stuff you hear at the weekenders and International events!

Dancing
There'll be lots of Jiving, Bopping and Strolling BUT there are no rules as to what you're supposed to do, so dance as you like! On your own, with a partner or in a group. Feel free to throw in some Lindy, Boogie, Foxtrot/Quickstep, Twist or anything else :)

Dress code
Mid Century attire is encouraged but not necessary. Dress to Impress or keep it smart casual :)
